Okay - just what happened with the events happen in real time concept?
Did they write a couple of weeks' worth of plot, and decide to just add a clock to tell you how long you've been watching, or what?
On day six, within the space of an hour, Jack is taken from the airport, cleaned up, handed over to terrorists, tortured and escaped. In about half an hour, the Secret Service have tried to raid an office, been sent away, obtained a search warrant, and returned. It takes Jack less about 15 minutes to drive to the terrorist's home from the place he was being held. Meanwhile, people a few minutes run down the road are completely oblivious to a helicopter strike in their neighbourhood, and get on with moving home.
