I completely agree! I really enjoyed Arrietty. I read The Borrowers as a child, and I enjoyed it but as a book it didn't quite work, somehow. The Ghibli film was in many ways a more satisfying version, and I thoroughly enjoyed the way they'd transported the story to Japan, while keeping the essence intact. Arrietty was a great character, and the artists and animators did wonderful work.
