It's all to do with football last week. The review page for yesterday in the Radio Times even goes as far to say that this is very annoying, looks like everyone noticed.
We made up for it by watching the new and excellent Shaun the Sheep :) :)
But now BBC1 has caught up with BBC4. Previously BBC4 was a week ahead. They could justify showing the wrong episode last week for this reason, but what's their excuse this week?
The regulators seem to be of the opinion that they should be showing new shows to justify control of 2 out of the 6 digital multiplexes, and also that those without digital shouldn't be left out. And as a result,we end up with the bizarre compromise where we still have to wait an extra week for the final episode of Spooks and Life on Mars.
But the majority of the population do have digital TV of some sort. Something like 70% this time last year, and it must have gone up since then.

If I'd known they were gonna fuck about with it, I would have just watched it on BBC1 only.
