The Science of Quizzes
Another Science Geek Singles group meetup. This was the British Library's science Christmas Quiz.
We had a team of 4. One person cancelled just before, which was a bit of a shame really. I'm sure I could have found a fifth and balanced out the gender imbalance a little given time.
Was impressed that we got complementary wine, and mince pies, and chocolate. We pessimistically named ourselves Absolute Zero this being our expected score. The quiz itself was fun but hard. Luckily the last round was Sci-fi based. I am enough of a space nerd to have known Gagarins space craft was Vostock but not enough to know whether it was 1 or 2.
I realised I've never been to the British Museum before. It's a fantastic place. Will have to go again when it's open.
