Waaah! Too much LARP!

"Darklight are proud to present Brighton Below 7."

Oh, bloody hell!!  It's not like there's not another 7 LARP events that I want to do this summer.

Three Maelstroms,
Two Nyctophobias,
Aliens and Alienation,
Serenity.
And now Brighton Below.

I think I might have to let one of them drop.

Will need to create characters for most of the ones I actually do go to.

For various complex reasons, Nyctophobia seems most likely to go, and that just makes me feel guilty.

I need more time, more money, and more days off.  And a spare self.

As an aside - I was trying to think whether Neverwhere could be transferred to Bristol.  I found coming up with decent puns tricky.  About the only decent idea I could think of was The Avon Ladies; The very thought of them terrifies me.

You should definitely do Aliens and Alienation - I want to hear all about it!

I am starting up a combat character who's happy to give martial training to all who wish it next event. Just letting you know, ya see, because I know you wanted to do that, and he is a trained tutor :p

A curse upon your fluffy head for pointing out Aliens, because I'm reading up on it and want to try it now. Sadly there's no way I can make it because it's less than two weeks from my thesis deadline. Gah.

Next year... *sigh*

Am sure you could do something Neverwhere-ish with Whiteladies Road, Blackboy Hill, Pigsty Hill, or even Nowhere (where a great-grandparent of mine used to live near Stoke Gifford; unless she was winding us up which is always a possibility.)
How about that famous personality Harry Stoke, or his brother Bradley Stoke?

See! I knew there must be others, which is why I posted:) Still a fair few Bristolites around.

You do NOT mess with the White Ladies.

Also, Catbrain has menacing psychic effects. The Red Lands are far, far larger on the inside than the outside. There are hundreds of weird tunnels and buried rivers, and you don't want to know what used to happen in the arched vaults under the Suspension Bridge piers before interfering engineers re-opened them. And what about the Templar church?

At least everybody knows to stay out of sight of the Gorge Gorgons...
