Why can't I be bothered?

I want to do Brighton Below.  I just can't seem to get into the character development mood. 

I can't decide either what I want to do with this downtime, or create a new character.  I can't even decide which one I want to do.  I had dozens of ideas after the last event and I can't remember any of them. 

Maybe I should just give up and go to a party instead.

Parties are good. I highly recommend one.

As for characters, the ideas will be back at some point, and they'll probably bring friends. :p You can always do something with downtime and then find someone new to play. Nothing lost either way. :)

Maelstrom. I went with the first character concept I came up with and didn't really think it through, and I'm not sure if she'll work out in the long run. Plus, the group I'm with is awesome, but I'm not sure whether I or the character are right for them.

I've made a new character for Below. The one I originally went with just wasn't working in the system. She didn't want anything from anyone and didn't have anything anyone else wanted.

This time I've got a craftsman with amnesia who's only just found her way back to Brighton after getting really lost (she put her map down and then couldn't find it again).

I could help throw some ideas at you if you like. But parties are good...

Lack of motivation was a problem for me as well.

See latest post (http://luckykaa.livejournal.com/348482.html) for two concepts that seem to be bouncing around.

I quite like the WW2 RAF officer idea, but can't work out what he's after.
