Well, it's been a busy weekend

Since I last had a reasonable length of time with access to a computer, and brain power to write, I've done the following:

Hired a car with serious hire car hassles.
Reavered (and more).
Flown to Amsterdam.
Started a new job.
Come fourth in a pub quiz.

All of it seems LJable but I need time. Will have to update as and when I find time. I do want to keep LJ going even though the rest of LJ land has migrated to facebook.

Based on who comments, I feel I might as well email my updates to you, and about 5 other people.

But I do this for my own amusement as well.

Car hire annoyance was only Hertz. Thrifty lady was kind and helpful but their service just wasn't suitable for my needs.

I did consider naming the 5 people. You and omylouse were two of them. I just didn't want to because there may well be a sixth that I forgot about.

True, and you'll remember the sixth later in the middle of the next night and worry they've taken offense and it too late to correct that. At least that's what I'd do I reckon.

I read them too!!! I only don't post as my life is full of work & ferrets. I love both but suspect people will get bored of it if I post this all the time!

Plus - fancy being visited over there by us sometime? I am in serious need of a holiday & we don't see enough of you! :)
