Was expecting someone to have got #5. #1 and #6 are slightly more obscure, still think I might need to add an extra clue for #4. I think most people will have seen it, but it's not a very quotable movie.

Well, 8 is The Princess Bride and 9 is Galaxy Quest, but I expect they've been guessed already, and the rest of them are currently making me think "damn, I know this one...", and I will probably remember them when I'm about to drift off to sleep or something.

While a bit late, I've just remembered that 9 is Galaxy Quest :)

Given the three I've got are films I like quite a lot, am looking forward to the full set of answers solely as film recommendations.
