Nippon 2007; 30th August -3rd of September.
Pondering if I can manage to go.
On one hand, Japan is a nice place to visit. I could extend the stay to a week or so, and visit other parts of Japan (Kyoto's really quite nice, and whizzing up and down on a Bullet train is a good way to travel). And every Worldcon I've been to (all one of them) have been a lot of fun.
On the other hand, it's expensive. The flight alone will cost £850, and I dislike flying. Airports are annoying and paranoid about security. There's a lot of waiting around. Flights are distinctly unpleasant - apparantly, once upoon a time they saw passengers as something other than an invconvenience - I can't sleep on planes, and I really have issues with Jetlag.
Should I stay or should I go.
Just thinking out loud.
Who else is going?
