More car shopping.
Nov. 23rd, 2002 07:26 pmThe next part of my car hunt was to have a look at the 1.4 petrol version of the diesel Rover 25 I saw last week. This was okayish, but really lacked the power. Plus it didn't have the alloy wheels or CD player. Asked my dad for his opinion - he though it looked good purely because it was on 0% finance. I wish he had more of an interest in cars. He just doesn't have a clue what I want in a car, and suggested I look at the Cinquecento and Toyota Yaris. Ewww!
Fortunately my Uncle was coming down. He knows his Rovers. He was a little unenthused because it didn't have the right engone. Quite right too. There are 2 versions of the 1.4 engine - an 84bhp and a 103bhp. This was the wimpy one. Really the only thing going for it is the 0% finance. Shame really.
Why can't I find a car that suits me!? I want a much better one than that, and I want it on 0%. I can afford better. I deserve better, and I ought to have better.
