Went to Slimelights again. [livejournal.com profile] kittiewitch said that some friends of [livejournal.com profile] dylan's were playing. Autoglass or something Yes, I know..... I felt this was as good an excuse as any to go down there.

So, met [livejournal.com profile] kittiewitch and [livejournal.com profile] dylan. They were a bit late, but I spent some time lurking quite respectably I felt. I soo need to know more people though. Everyone there knew everyone. Except me of course. How do you meet people in a new city?

Actually, I probably had met some of these people the previous time I was there. I just tend not to be able to recognise goths that I've only met once after about 3 weeks. Too many people look sort of similar.

Um.. Not much else to say. Got to know [livejournal.com profile] dylan a bit better. Ummm. That's about it really.

Didn't get drunk. Decided that waking up in the morning with a throat like sandpaper would not be fun. It's a funny attitude isn't it.

Almost forgot - Free entertainment on the bus. A couple of gay guys got on. Actually, they were so camp, I thought they were putting it on, and maybe they were, but they seemed genuine, and they had good dress sense, so they must have been gay. Anyway, had much amusement watching them them wind up other passengers. And each other.

I've found the car I like. It's a Peugeot 206 2.09 HDi with lots of bells and whistles. Well, no actual bells or whistles, but a 6 CD changer in the boot, Air con.

Test drove similar car. Seems perfectly nice. I'll have to actually have a test of that one, but there shouldn't be anything wrong with it. Its a reputable peugeot dealer, so they've got their good name on the line.

Offered me £300 for my car, which is about £300 more than its worth. I think actually this counts as a discount on the car, and a free offer to take my existing car away.

On the way back, someone clipped the front of my car. Thought he'd just got the mirror.

Got back, discovered that he'd actually whacked the bumper out of shape. Bugger! I should have stopped, and got out, and looked. Not that I think I could have been bothered with getting the thing fixed. Still a bit annoying. I mean the garage proably isn't going to care one way or the other really.
