Muddy waters
Jun. 1st, 2003 12:06 amIt was another mudmeet for a mud that I used about 5 years ago (really just a talker), and recently started using again.
I decided that this meant it was probably about time I got myself this digital camera I've been planning to get for a while. I felt this on
looked rather nice.
Batteries didn't last long enough though. Fortunately, I was prepered for something non-specific happening, and pulled out my old camera. A little more experimentation tells me that the display seems to drain batteries. I can take about 200 shots before I get the low battery worning. Maybe I should use the viewfinder in future instead of the LCD on the back.
Embarrasing moments - There was this rather tactile girl - I wanted a pic, and she suggested a rather nice pose of us with our arms around each other. So, I put my arm around her, and found she was thinner than I expected. Hand strayed a little. An honest mistake, she realised this, but for the rest of the evening, she wouldn't stop accusing me of molesting her. Sigh.
Things to do - Chop off evil hand.
Apart from that, it was fun. There was of course the obligatory guy that nobody really wanted there for some reason. Must have been because he invited himself, and has this irritating tendency to rub people up the wrong way. I can sort of see everyone's point.
