I appear to have done Tigerpixie a disservice

So here's a more positive account of her wedding:

As I said, I arrived in the nick of time. Everyone was already there. tigerpixie arrived looking absolutely wonderful, glowing white, with two bridesmaids dressed in green. The minister gave a very nice speech about the good times and the bad times. Afterwards, there were the usual photos, of various arrangements of different friends and families. Then the bride and groom departed in a horse drawn carriage.

The reception was in an absolutely fantastic Elizabethan hotel. It was gorgeous. A lovely castly building with a large area of greenery, and a lake. They served a very nice strawberry wine. Perfect drink for a hot summer evening.

So, we filed in for food. A couple of people on my table didn't show up, but the people that on the table were a fantastic crowd. Food was very good. And we had bubbles. Little champagne bottles with bubble blowing stuff inside. A very nice idea. The speeches were great. Andrew did the traditional "My wife and I" start, and generally showed his generousity of spirit, Best man tyrshundr made a long and highly amusing speech about the history of the best man, the history of Andrew. Then the disco started. Not to my taste, but other people enjoyed it, and partied away quite happily. It was a lovely day though, so I went outside and enjoyed the grounds, and chatted to the other guests outside.

It was a fantastic day. I've been talking about it to anyone who will listen ever since.

Tigerpixie, Andrew - I know the two of you will be happy together. The two of you were made for each other.
