I still want a new job.

Who's hiring? Where can I get job information? Why do agents stink so much at their job?

Oh well. At least it's another busy week. Theatre workshops have started up again. Liz - the organiser of these things at Battersea Art's Centre - was a little half arsed about marketting this time, so just bullied all the people she knew from the Young Person's Theatre group. These are people with actual talent and skills and stuff, so the actual quality of performances was a lot better than usual.

Wednesday I had some telly watching to do. Imprortant stuff, I'm sure you'll agree. Enterprise is still bucking the trend by being fairly good. Dead Like Me seems to have gone downhill.

Today is boardgaming.

Tomorrow is the Serenity Convention. Wish I could persuade most of the regulars of the True WayTM of conventions - That the best cons are the ones where you'd be happy to spend all your time in the bar. I'm sure the Jedi Chefs are aware of this, but most of them are kids with no knowledge offandom, and something of a fixation with the stars. Gives some of them a bit of a stalker mentality.

Wish I had givenmyself more time to sort out some costumes though. Themes are:
The Ol' West - So I need a hat. Or a more original concept.
Jedi Knights - I have black clothes, a glove, a lightsaber, a cloak, and light hair. Makes Return of the Jedi Luke Skywalker seem a sensible choice. What sort of shoes do I want?
Companions & Shepherds - Or tarts and Vicars. Way too lazy to come up with anything here. I think I'll come as me. A Knights of God costume would be a good one, just to see if anyone anywhere recognises it.

My brother sent me this Spaceships quiz(Excel document)

I'm stuck on 11, 13, 22, 26, 38, 40, 42, 44 and 45.

What is Number 42!? It looks like an Omega class destroyer, but putting in B5 says "Wrong".

It's nice to know I'm a geek.

My computer geek score is greater than 89% of all people in the world! How do you compare? Click here to find out!

Useful multiple choice code reading tips - At least for ASCII, ROT13 and other substitution schemes. Double letters and repeated letters are often a giveaway.
