Yay! My Eddie (replica M42) helmet arrived just in time to go to Rocky Horror show in Brighton. Went with my parents and my brother and my sister-in-law.

Michael Aspel narrated. Very good at responding to audience "Oh, I paused because I was expecting you to say something rude". Quite a loud audience although I'm not sure how it compares with other showings since I've only seen this one. Frankie seemed a bit wrong. Maybe I'm too used to the movie version, but this guy seemed way too manly. Rocky was great. He had the muscles for it and a good voice, and the talent to play it as innocent and vulnerable.

Not everyone there dressed up. And only a few really made an effort. My mum did, with a bright red wig, and a decent quality (hand made) maid outfit. I was quite pleased with my Eddie costume. I thought the helmet added authenticity. didn’t see a lot of Eddies. As always, many Magentas, and a few Columbias. No Rockys, a couple of Frankies, and a rather good Riff Raff. Mostly it was the girls who made an effort to dress up. Would have thought we'd see a lot more transvestites in Brighton.
