Why am I suddenly so employable?

Actually, I'm not.  The "positions" are from companies that have been advertising the same opening for god knows how long. 

Told one of them that I'm no longer in the games industry, decided to tell him I've gone back to university.  A total lie but it gets rid of him.  He replied asking me what I was studying so I think I'll have to come up with a slightly bizarre subject.  Another one started the email "Dear Candidate".  Nothing beats the personal touch.  I told to stop contacting me because he's clearly a spammer.   Another was so generic that I asked why he bothered emailling me.  Then I was called at lunch.  The guy was under the impression that I was unemployed.  Not for the past 2 yewars, mate. 

Not quite sure why we have these agencies.  They don't seem to do a hell of a lot and get paid lots of money to do it.
