Winter glumness

It's cold and it gets dark early.  This interferes with my usual cheerful cynicism and just makes me feel a little depressed. 

Walking down to the beach, and buying some chips helped a little.  The seaside is nice and peaceful at this time of year when there aren't any of those holidaymakers getting in the way.  And the chips are nice and unhealthy, so very rewarding.  It's only a temporary fix though. 

I need a proper way to keep myself happy over the cold winter months. 

Perhaps I should just migrate south for the winter.
