Elves in city rampage.

So, this weekend was
lordofthewheel and
callylevy roleplay weekend.
Quick whine about traffic - Why do people in Northolt drive anywhere in the first place. It took about 10 minutes to go the last mile and a half. and on the way back I had to avoid the fast route because there was the London to Brighton Bike ride. Really wouldn't have been so fast.
So anyway - two games. Cyberpunk and D&D.
Cyber
Cyberpunk, (run by
callylevy) I played a media guy who seemed to be getting gradually more and more dodgy as I added equipment. He did work for a pretty sleazy media outfit so hardly inappropriate even for a guy who was actually quite idealisitc. I was bumbling around a bit at first but kinda got into my stride after we got into the game and I managed to work out what the plot was. And I got to do some breaking and entering, which was a ot of fun. Really did rather enjoy this game.
Money
We finished the day with a game of Cash and Guns. A fun little game essentially based on the Mexican stand-off scene of Reservior dogs.
Dungeon
Next day was D&D game. I've always been a little wary of that as a game because it always feels a little heavy on the random number stuff rather than the story, but
lordofthewheel came up with a decent enough plot, and as a DM, managed to get a bit flustered by players not behaving he way we were meant to, and sort of breaking the plot after about 10 minutes. Sorryyyy...
I was a half elf druid. And I had a rat. Given that the animal companion was the main reason I chose the class, perhaps next time I should just play the rodent. Cool point for my character - managing to do the world's most perfect jump onto a collapsing patform and rescuing my ally who had previously made a not so great leap down.
Getting down and jiggy
Got there in plenty of time as it turned out. The people who run the class were held up by London to Brighton Bike ride traffic.
Found the beginners moves a little tricky still, so stayed in the beginners class. Before I forget, this evenings moves were Armjive pushspin, yoyo, shoulder drop, side to side. Found the transistion to Armjive strangely tricky.
Wish I could remember the octopus.
