Tivo update. Nano update.

Tivo seemed to be recording a suggestion this morning.  That was nice of it. 

Also noticed I've had Sky One and Two again for the past couple of weeks.  And Three for that matter.  Nothing seems to be on those channels at the moment.

Was hoping to get lots of Nano written yesterday.  My parents wanted me to be in for the boiler man since they were on holiday.  I decided I'd use their computer to write a few paragraphs.  First I decided I'd fix up their wireless network connection without having my dad hanging over me.  Then I decided they should have the latest Windows updates which kept wanting to reset which does interfere somewhat. Then I discovered that 256 Megs isn't even enough for windows update to run properly (I told them to get more RAM when they bought it!!!!)  Took forever to install.

I really needed to be there for the plumber when he arrived.  Didn't get nearly as much done as I wanted.  So still almost a day behind.

Have finally applied Chekov's Law so that's something I'm pleased about.

The Highwayman who I wanted to remember the name of some time ago was John Nevison.

Wish I could remember why I wanted to know.
