Why is this so hard...?

Okay, it's not a perfect match, but I'm applying for a job that wants C, C++ OpenGL, and a games background, including graphics optimisation (which I have) as well as Windows mobile (which I don't have).  I've applied for considerably less appropriate jobs.  Somehow selling myself for this one seems to be pretty tough. 

In other news, In the end, I got nephew a toy toolbox. Has an electric drill and screwdriver and a hammer and nails.  Hope it's fun:)

NaNoWriMo To Go.

Hey, there's a month until Nano... 

The forums have been reset, the data has been wiped.  I'm back to a clean slate of 0 words. 

I have to come up with some plot ideas.  The post apocolyptic/steampunk/post apocolyptic steampunk highwayman seems potentially interesting.  Needs a plot to wrap around the premise though.  Perhaps I should veer away from conspiracy thriller this time. 

I could just nab the setting from Anchor, which would have the handy side effect of generating a load of source material.

Settings are easy though.  Plot is hard. 

So, who's doing it this year?
