Went to London to see Picocon, 33 met up with a friend I'd met on the internet. Saw Mike, zoep,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
lemming_man , omylouse , masterofapath , one_true_bee , blue_sun_scribe , tlanti , l_j_b , beermat , mingmerciless ,scotiva multiclassgeek , gaspodex and tyrone, in roughly that order. Did pretty much my own thing rather than join the attempted cat herding. Life is so much easier that way. Turkey reading was fun. The story about the horny sheep was probably the highest quality turkey ever. However, I rather enjoyed the X-Men/Star Trek TNG crossover for it's pure Wolverine/Worf slashiness. One_true_bee was dressed as the tenth doctor and so looked absolutely dashing. Tlanti was dressed as Jack Harkness as usual and so looked absolutely dashing. The two of them seemed to get on wonderfully.
Had oodles of fun in the bar with Tlanti, one_true_bee and Tyrone.
Had Thai food, met up withall_five_aces and the_smut_fairy in the pub. Discussed getting omylouse shot amongst other things. Went home.
Some loud and sort of amusing-in-an-irritating-way chavs got on the train home at Haywards Heath. The family guy Bird is the word thing gets tired pretty quickly, guys. They were fun and pretty harmless though.
Saw the_smut_fairy and all_five_aces again this afternnon. Drank tea. Played with cat. Also saw Scotiva again. She was running a bit late so went to the science museum to ogle jet engines and take photos of useful Anchor reference material.
So, fun weekend.
