A third of the way there
Jun. 10th, 2010 07:38 pmSo, I'm 23 days into a 69 day contract (14 weeks minus one bank holiday). Where does the time go?
Really don't think they've got their money's worth yet. I've produced various bits that can probably be coaxed into working as part of a finished whole that is absolutely nothing like the design since the design people seem to be busily making major changes. This company does seem to be a little vague about what they want. Also a bit disorganised in getting the stuff that I need to me. I need to interface to an API that has yet to be designed. Fun.
It occurs to me that since I have so little social life I really ought to be doing stuff with my weekends. This seems quite hard to think about when I'm miles away and only contemplating as far as the epic voyage home. Sunday is booked up with blowing things up. What do I do with my Saturday? Anyone want to visit or for me to visit them? Can easily make it to London as well as Brighton.
