Moving out.

Didn't bother hiring a van. I felt lack of driving licence would be a hassle. Instead I hired a man with a van. Called a few numbers. First person to answer got a good idea of what I wanted, said he charged £25 an hour, minimum charge of 2 hours, and he'd be pretty flexible if we did go over. Since £50 was what I figured I'd be paying for this anyway, I accepted. Was ever so useful having someone to help shift the washing machine.
If you need some stuff shifted, will definitely recommend Sean Bartholmew "The Man and a Van that Can!" on 01273 461140. He definitely earned the money.
That was Monday afternoon. On Tuesday, did cleaning. My mum helped. Wednesday I did more cleaning. Thursday I finished the cleaning. Once again with parental assistance. My mum has been great!
So today I had a man in to clean the carpets. Was all a bit of a confusing mix up there where I got my numbers mixed up. Long story short, carpet was steam cleaned and deep cleaned. Oh well. They can't claim I haven't made an effort.
Am so glad it's done!
Also cleaned my car. That lasted a few hours before a bird took offence.
So, anyone want to buy a used Peugeot 206. 2.0L HDi. 51 reg. 5 doors. A few dents. Recently serviced. Figure I'll aim for £1200 or so but will probably drop that a bit.
