Thor:The Dark World
Nov. 3rd, 2013 03:05 pmSaw new Thor film. I am liking that I don't need to be careful about whether I'm seeing the subbed or dubbed version. The Dutch don't dub. I'm also starting to warm to 3D. Maybe because films are being made in 3D rather than that being added as an afterthought. At the very least it does bring everything a lot closer.
Fun film. Pretty much what you expect form a Marvel flick. There is a McGuffin that will destroy the world/universe, and a villain that wants to get it. Heroes must make sure villain doesn't get it, get a big punch up, and optionally destroy various landmarks along the way. I do find it a lot harder to suspend disbelief when things happen in London rather than fictional cities like Asgard or New York.
End credits were really nicely done.
For some reason, people left before the credits ended. This is not something to do with a Marvel film.
No sign of Enders Game here yet. IMDB previously said it was out last week, but that seems to have changed to January!
