New York - final thoughts
Sep. 10th, 2018 05:24 pmSo, there's a lot of traffic in New York. Flickums is of the opinion that the constant hooting is cars saying hello to each other. I like that so it's now my head canon.
Taxi drivers obviously practice by playing Grand Theft Auto.
JFK passport control sucks.
It sure does get hot!
There is a lot of tasty food.
There are a lot of Irish pubs.
Free refills on soft drinks is a good idea.
The 1930's architecture needs to be appreciated more!
I miss the time when the exchange rate was closer to $2 the £1 rather than $1.20 or so.
It was nice to visit again, I think I've seen all I ever want to see there.
I still think I should have bought the Donald Trump bottle opener. Although Flickums' King Kong Empire State building monument is very cool.
