Busy half day.

Batsy is still having clutch trouble so I took a half day off to deal with it. Driving up to Stockport in a car that won't go into first gear is always fun.

Anyway, I arrived at the mechanic, but by that point whatever was wrong with the clutch had gone away. This happens with this problem. He said he'd look at it. I loitered in the area while he did so. Didn't really see anything obviously wrong, but bled the clutch to see if that fixes things. I guess we'll find out if it happens again within the next few months. Still he didn't charge me for it, which was nice of him.

Arrived home and received a big parcel because I'm an idiot who put the wrong delivery address. Went to the post office. Would cost almost as much to forward it as to buy a new one.

Drive to work. Drive back. Needed to sort out this week's lunch. I'm still in a salad mood, although I'm starting to think I spend more on ingredients than just going to the shop and buying one ready made. So did that. Now I need to go to pick up flickums, because she has the car today.

Somehow I have had barely a chance to sit down and relax.

So if that's how much I have to do with a half day off. I'm just glad I didn't take the whole day.
