Inspired by this post in brits_Americans (and one of my favourite rants).
Name a single sitcom that has succesfully been remade in a different country with something resembling the same plot as the original. Either direction will do. Has there ever been a success?

And Til Death Do Us Part worked v. well 20 years later in the US as All In The Family (a show that won lots of awards).
