Update on mystery landlord

luckykaaMisread the postcard. He just wants to visit. My paranoia and his terrible handwriting meant I thought he said he was entitled to visit.
It seems that the property has been sold. At least, it was listed as sold by an estate agent/property auctioner, who are legitimate, as checked by the Estate Agent Ombudsman website, The Royal Inst. of Chartered Surveyors' website, and the Estates Gazette Directory. I checked to company's website. Has full details and names of tenants.
Flatmate called, and it was sold to the person who claims to be the landlord.
All seems above board, apart from the mysterious absense of any official letter telling us that the new guy is our new landlord.
