It's ironic that I go to a convention about media SF and it takes me two weeks to catch up with media SF.

Why am I still watching Lost?  They still seem to be making it up as they go along and the stories don't seem quite so interesting.

Dollhouse Episode 3...

Okay, so it seems yet another run of the mill anthology type show.  Echo has to protect a singer from a murderous stalker.  Twist is that the singer seems to have a deathwish.  Unsubtle parallel in that both she and Echo have no choice.  We only see that right at the end.  We also have a cop who's trying to prove the existence of Dollhouse.  There's a hint of some sort of relationship between Echo and Sierra, and a suggestion that the wipe isn't as complete as the organisation claims.

Didn't care about the singer.  Investigating cop feels tacked on.  There doesn't seem to be much in the way of relationships, or even personality back at Doll HQ

Okay, Joss.  So where is this going?  You can't just tease us with a vague hint that there might be something.  We need more mystery than that.  Your horde of Whedonites isn't enough to sustain the show.

for the same reason I watched the X-Files to the end of season 9, pure pigheaded loyalty. I'm doing the same with Lost.
