Well, I'm back home now. I really hate all airports.

Did some last day shopping. A couple of souvenirs, and many DVDs. Then I managed to burn my finger on a hotplate. So, I went off on a quick jaunt to a chemist to get some burn cream. Nice start to the day, but never mind... Let's go back in time to Thursday.

Thursday night was good. Went to see a Broadway play. Dracula, the musical. I managed to get ticket for the balcony. There was only another hour and a half to get a ticket, so I think I was lucky to get a ticket even if it was in the rafters.

Had a very nice pre-theatre meal. Italian restaurant. The salmon looked very tasty, and for that matter tasted very tasty. A couple of ladies on the table next to me chatted to me a little. Not quite sure why I seem to appeal to old ladies rather than swedish nymphomaniacs. We went our separate ways, and I queued for the theatre. A very old theatre by US standards, built in 1907. Spoke to a chap in the queue. He apparently likes horror movies, although I didn't get the chance to interrogate him on who his favourite dracula was, because it turned out I was in the wrong queue.

And I enjoyed the show. Of course, I know little about this sort of thing, so maybe the critics are going to disagree. Do I care? Nope. I enjoyed it, and that's what's important.

Next day I went home. Thought I'd give Grand central's oyster bar one last visit. It's good, but I'm sure I've had better mussels.

And now I'm back home. Tired, jetlagged, but pleased to be back.
