Car grrr!!!!

Wanted to get some paint for wing mirror cover.  Wanted to drive to Halfords.  Car didn't start.  Rolled down the hill and managed to get the thing going.

Now, is my car Silver or Platinum silver?  Having done some additional research is seems I got the wrong one. 

Made a pigs ear of painting it.

Also opened bonnet to see if I could get to the sparkplugs and see if they were damp or something.  Bonnet hinge is broken.

And I lost a screwdriver.

Also door latch jammed but I disassembled that and it's all okay now.

For best paint match always get from Peugeot. They will give you the correct shade based upon your registration. However, the match may still not be 100%. The spray is usually better than the touch up stick in my experience.

Overall you were successful (based on door latch fix) - i.e. it is more than I could do so I am impressed :D

I'm not too fussed about the paint cockup. I've learned one way not to paint a wing mirror trim. Edison learned over 100 ways not to invent the lightbulb so I have some way to go.
