They always sing the same song. Hell, not's not even a carol. Can't they at least come up with some effort. Why do we reward such a token effort?

I seem to be in the mood for ranting, so I thought I'd snipe at "Carol" Singers. Doing this with a rifle is illegal.

Humbug anyone? How about an Everton mint?

If it is raining you can have much fun watching them wilt through the window whilst 'looking for your wallet'.

They usually go away after 10 minutes of standing on the step facing a closed door.

That's the problem. I can't quite manage the malevolence you can unless people are being more of a nuisance. Telemarketers get confused (http://www.xs4all.nl/~egbg/counterscript.html), and have their time wasted. I'm considering applying a similar but more bizarre tactic against spammers.

by the way - do you have a personal email address, or do you use your work one still? If you have a personal one, can you email me from it please.
