luckykaa1. What did you do in 2016 that you'd never done before?
Bought a house. Went to Finland. Made cheese. I think the first wine was made last year...
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't make any. I still have the resolutions for 2016 to keep... Although I did achieve house buying. May make some in March.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
A couple of friends, I think.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No.
5. What countries did you visit
Finland. Day trip to Estonia from Finland. Northern Ireland. Belgium again.
6. What would you like to have in 2018 that you lacked in 2017?
Free time! Space!
7. What dates from 2017 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
December 21st. House buying day!
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Buying a house!
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not standing my ground and insisting on waiting until next year to complete house buying.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Lots of colds.11. What was the best thing you bought?
Harrison! Having a car has been extremely useful. Next best thing was two Eurostar tickets out of Belgium.
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Anyone who did anything at all to help after the Manchester Arena bomb.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Theresa May, Donald Trump, The Daily Mail. All a bit too political.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Buying a house. Single biggest transaction I ever made.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Seeing Amber Benson at Vampire Ball convention!
16. What song will always remind you of 2017?
Attack On Titan theme.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? Happier. I have aflickums living with me.
b) thinner or fatter? About the same, despite the efforts of flickums.
c) richer or poorer? Richer. I think the house counts as net assets.
Read. Play video games. Relax in a way that I have something to show for it rather than waste time on the internet.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Wasting time on the internet. Queuing at Brussels Airport.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
Already done. Spent with parents.
21. Who did you spend the most time on the phone with?
People involved with house buying.
22. Did you fall in love in 2016?
There's still only one girl for me!

None!
24. What was your favourite TV programme?
Attack On Titan was really good! Also got into The Expanse.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Nope. Don't do hate.
26. What was the best book you read?
The Lies Of Locke Lamora.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Schandmaul. I just wanted something German so I could get a bit of practice while working.
28. What did you want and get?
A house.
29. What did you want and not get?
Nothing. All I wanted was that house.
30. What was your favourite film of this year?
Dunkirk.
31. What did you do on your birthday?
Flew to Belfast. Went to a nice restaurant. Had cocktails.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
More space.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2015?
Black jeans. Geeky t-shirts.

Weekly roleplaying sessions.

None of them. I find politics increasing frustrating.

Nobody.

David and Natasja! Flickums' friends in Antwerp.
