luckykaaI went to Woking's Sci-fi shop. Alas, this is closing down soon. I didn't really find anything that I liked that I felt like making an offer on. I was sort of tempted by the BBC radio play version of Lord of the Rings, but decided I'll pass since I'm running out of tape players. I only have the one in my car and the one in my room, neither of which have a reomte. I could always copy them to CD, but what would be the point?
Still, I found Lord of the Rings books for only £2.99 in a seconds bookshop.
Anyway, they had Fellowship of the Ring and Return of the King. I asked the nice lady whether they had The Two Towers as well. She said "We've only got Lord of the Rings and one by tolkein", whatever that meant. Ah well. I hink I'll have to end up with a mismatched set I would like the one with this cover
, but I can't without getting tit from the US at more than I really wanted to pay. I'd like to get the whole collection for under £12 all in. have to make do. Beggars can't be choosers.
