It's good that they ended. 

Not sure I'm satisfied. 

So, was he in a coma, insane or a time traveller?  Turns out it was the first of these.  The mundane one. 

Sam has as miserable a life as he had when he first went into 1973.  Which doesn't really quite add up.  And we don't find out what happened about the serial killer he was after in episode 1.  Not enough answers.

Hold on...  did Hunt hall Sam "Dorothy"?  I'll have to go back and look.

And I'm also deeply unsatisified with the ending. Even though that's pretty much how i'd worked out they would have to end it to avoid REALLY pissong off the fans. They managed to paint themselves into a bit of a corner with the shows sucess ...

IMHO, it suffers a bit from A.I. syndrome.
The ending could've been better but I think they changed the script to something they could use for another series.
A bit unsatisfying ending but it could've been all a dream...
