There's going to be a Comic Book panel at the Brighton Festival.
Even if you don't want to come down, I'd encourage everyone to take a look at the festival. It's pretty cool.
And happy birthday to
gaspodex and
tinkerbell1980
In other news, I have a shiny new Brighton icon.

I was told by
I'm her Brighton ex-housemate and was reliably informed that you're insearch of like-minded Brighton geeks. I'm one of those. Hello!

Fancy a drink?

Date: 2007-04-24 07:59 am (UTC)A drink sounds eminently doable.

Date: 2007-04-25 11:42 am (UTC)I work in fairly central Brighton, a couple of minutes from the station.
So now it's just the complex task of working out where and when. Portslade (which I don't knowat all) or Brighton? Do you drink? Or would you prefer tea or coffee or maybe something more of an activity?

Date: 2007-04-25 12:09 pm (UTC)Do I drink? Does the Pope shit in the woods? I'm happy with a pint, a drop of rum, a good coffee or a cuppa. The Evening Star by the station does good Sussex beer and shouldn't be too busy on a monday, or there are a variety of cafes scattered through North Laine. My favourite coffee shop is unfortunately all the way down on St James Street.

Date: 2007-04-25 04:06 pm (UTC)How do we recognise each other? I would provide a photo but I'm not sure if I have one where I'm not dressed as a cat or something;)

Date: 2007-04-25 04:13 pm (UTC)My cat would approve, I'm sure.

Date: 2007-04-25 04:16 pm (UTC)In my defence this was at a fancy dress party where I dressed as Puss in Boots from Shrek.

Date: 2007-04-26 08:18 am (UTC)I guess now is not the time to mention that I found myself disturbingly attracted to Puss in Shrek. I think it was Banderas' performance that did it - he even makes a CG cat sexy. Shutting up now.

Date: 2007-04-30 08:05 am (UTC)Fortunately the Evening Star isn't big, but I have shoulder length curly brown hair and am wearing an olive green cardi - think that'll be enough to spot me by?

Date: 2007-04-30 08:32 am (UTC)I'll be wearing a shiny black shirt and black trousers and black & white converse boots.
I'm in a black mood today:)
