I've been drinking a bit too much this week, I think.  

Thursday was the celebrity filled release baash I mentioned before.

Friday was an old friend's birthday bash day 1. This involved going to pubs and drinking lots of real ales.  People came and went throughout the evening.  That crowd does that sort of thing.

Saturday was my Ex-Bristol Flatmate's birthday bash.  Was rather disorganised and didn't manage to get round to buying a present until I got to Bristol and went to Toys R Us.  I got a radio controlled dalek before discovering that he already had one. Ah well.  He can start a dalek army, and call himself Davros.  Then I discovered that Forbidden Planet has moved, which was annoying. If I'd have known I would have got him a birthday present there.  

Also picked up my own copy of Settlers of Catan.  FP didn't have a copy!  They had seafarers and cities and nights and the 5-6 player expansions and the card game and the travel edition but not plain Settlers of Catan! Went to the comic shop at the bottom of psrk street instead, where I explained that I'd moved away from my nearest copy so needed my own.

Party was fun.  For the first time since I've known him, Davros invited all his friends rather than individual groups.  A plus side of this was there were lots of cute female panto-soc people :)  Drank lots of beer and some Thatcher's pear cider.  Very nice it was too. And there was cake there.  Lovely cake.

Some people had been to see Pirates: AWE, and dressed up for it. I was disappointed that nobody mentioned this before I left.  I had a perfectly good pirate costume of my own but left it behind.

Sunday saw Doctor Who with Davros after his geeky but non DW loving bf had left.  Was impressed by a rare bit of intelligence when Martha was coonfronted by an imposter. 

Then we to the pub with  tyrshundr and ghostpaw and copo_de_nieve(I think) and had a roast.  Also invited spacefall but she didn't check her messages until after I'd left Bristol.  Which is a shame.  I want my friends to meet each other.  I also want to prove to the everyone else I know that spacefall isn't an imaginary friend.  Something I'm starting to doubt myself...  Maybe I should have a birthday celebration in Bristol this year.  Since I'll be in Japan immediately before, during and after my birthday I'll have to work out when to do this..

Went home.  Stopped off at Woking to lurk, eat, and after a bit of dithering as to whether to stay or go, decided to stay drank a chocolate and Baileys milkshake and some rum and Doctor Pepper, and generally molested cath_er_ine. (in a nice way and I let her torture me in return).

So wonder if I should go to the pub tonight.
