Geekest of the geeks
Apr. 2nd, 2012 10:48 amWent to the Geekest Link quiz last night.
This month it was Ed's birthday so to celebrate, this was Star Trek themed. Rounds based on Klingons, Jean Luc Picard, the movie trilogy (Star Trek 2, 3, and 4), Starships (picture round), and General Nerdage. Extra poitns for teams that came in costume. There was an awesome team that had a Borg, a Tolosian, a Star Fleet officer, and what I think might have been a Vulcan robe.
We came 5th, which wasn't too bad. One team got every question right (first time ever), and another dropped a single point. Also the mystery prize round went to a tie-breaker. Closest answer won. What Stardate was given at the start of Star Trek 2? The winner knew it!
These are the questions we didn't get. Have screened comments so you can have a go yourselves, and will unscreen them in the next day or so. If anyone gets all of them right, they are hereby invited to join my team next month. (Downside is this is on a Sunday evening and it's usually a school night).
