Pondering resolutions 2018
Jan. 4th, 2018 05:53 pmI have rules with New Years Resolutions.
They don't start until March. January is difficult enough for me without adding extra challenges.
They need to be something I can say I've achieved. I.e.something specific, and measurable.
It must be recoverable. Giving up something is not recoverable. One lapse and it's a failure. Losing weight is - gaining a couple of pounds can be fixed.
Not sure what I want to achieve. I guess I'd like to lose a stone or so. Difficult when I have no willpower, and a loving girlfriend constantly feeding me... I do want to spend more time playing all the games I keep buying. Want to spend some time on personal projects. Wondering if I should take up other hobbies - dancing, or trapeze would help a little with the weight. There's a tumbling class in Manchester that might be worth a go.
Will see what I come up with by March.
