Things I must remember not to forget
Aug. 22nd, 2007 11:08 amOff to Japan in just a few days.
Scary.
Will really need to check to see if my palm charger will work with a 100V supply.
I have a terrible fear that I'm going to forget something essential.
And why do I have no icon representing Japan?
EDIT: I do now!

Date: 2007-08-22 01:01 pm (UTC)You have a printer at home/work - other simple way is just to create something in a Word doc layout, print (preferably in colour), use guillotine/scissors.
Done that a few times for events I didn't want to write down info each time I talked to someone.
That way it can be as personalised as you want, include homedrawn Dalek cartoon pics, etc.

Date: 2007-08-22 04:04 pm (UTC)If offered a business card, it will be presented to you with both hands, and you should receive it with both hands, read both sides, and then either put it away safely if you are standing up, or leave it on the table in front of you if you are sitting at a table so you can read it to remind yourself of the other person's name. At least that's the business etiquette!
