Final day in Japan. So today I look around the city I've been staying in.

Yokahama is a relatively new city. Much more spacious than other japanese cities despite being Japan's second most populous. It's a major port so has that cosmipolitan feel you often get in harbour towns.

Walked around to see the outdoor sites first. There's the Jack, Queen & King buildings, and Yokohama park. The park contains various sculptures. One of a girl with red shoes. Some Japanese ladies posed some dolls with her for a photo and I had to stop them taking them away when they saw I wanted a photo.

Then it started to rain so I dived into the doll & toy museum. Some interesting stuff including a display on Japanese and Western doll manufacture.

Dried up enough to get to Mitsubisi Industrial museum. Has a very cool helicoptor simulator. Good fun. My landing was soft but did require a second pass and I suspect there was computer assist.

Time to kill so I went to the art museum then to Landmark Tower's observatory - Japan's highest skyscraper observatory. Also the fastest elevator. 750m/min whisked us up to the top in a few seconds.

Took some skyscraper pr0n shots and used the ¥100 cafe discount to buy an overpriced "Landmark Tower" cocktail.

Still not clear enough to see Mt. Fuji. Did choose to go when it was just getting nice though so got a good view of the city.

As a foodie I just had to go to the Ramen museum. Based on a 1950's Japanese style town, mostly filled with Ramen restaurants - I had a very tasty bowl of Ramen from one of the 8 or so fine offerings. Then had a go at a cork shooting range. And won nothing! Some of you know I get kind of competitive over this so I bought another 10 shots. 9 hits 4 prizes. Much better!
