Job update
Oct. 21st, 2003 12:28 pmAt last! I am now out of a job! This makes looking for a new one a hell of a lot easier. Anyone know of any openings for a games/3d programmer?
I wish everyone would stop reacting that it's the worst thing in the world when I tell them. It is not terrible news. It's a normal side effect of working in the games industry. If I'm still not employed after 5 months, then you can start worrying. Only issues right now are the lack of a P45 and the obligation to look for a new job.
Also discovered I can't organise a piss up. Planned one. Forgot to drink lots of alcohol. Maybe I need a brewery.

Question is: are you going to stay in London?

As for staying in London - I dunno. I quite like this place now, and moving is a hassle and a bit expensive. Plus this is a good location to work from. I can get to anywhere in London, half of Surrey and parts of Sussex in 30 minutes.
