Online. She lived in Bristol. So did I. Then I moved to London and she to Dover.

This isn't actually a great problem. Email is very good for long distance communication, and we've been getting on rather nicely. WE have a lot in common. She's even a sci-fi fan. What more can you ask for in a girl? Well, I know there's an obvious answer to that one, but it's hardly gentlemanly now is it? It would be nice to be able to meet up though. I suggested this to her. She seems to think its a good idea in principle, but I think she's a little concerned that I might be an axe wielding psycho. The reason I think this is because she said "you might be an axe wielding psycho for all I know". You seem my problem?

I'll have to find some cunning way to meet. London is totally out of the question for the above reasons. I can;t really get down there because I don't trust my car. Of the problems of long distance relationships....

If we don't support these things they might die out....

If you do not trust your car, take a train.

Alternatively exchange photos... actually.. no... bad plan... then she would know you look like an axe wielding psycho :)

Jokes aside a face ismre reassuring than an e-mail. As is a voice as you cannot spend hours carefully tailoring to remove freakyness (not that there is any but you get my point). Try giving her your phone number then when she hears your safe tones she will desire to meet you even more.
