e) For a living? I work a day job in a number of different Health and Social Care Agencies. I work with a variety of clients - nursery age children, the elderly, the disabled and the mentally ill. For preference, I work with disabled children and children with challenging behaviours.

I'm also part of a network of very fine and very talented individuals, who provide entertainment to clubs, gigs and festivals, amongst other things.

a) I've been to all the main themed Firefly conventions in the UK, plus Sean's in L.A. and lots of shindigs [GG].

b) Somewhere down the line, I've got a Vera copy in the works...

e) Um...the show/movie/whatever sucks me in by being [IMO] brilliant. If it has the added attraction of male eye candy to make my hormones fizz [Jayne Cobb, it's all YOUR fault, LOL] then I'm in! Then this wonderful interwebs thing connects me with other fans and I get a whole slew of nice new people to meet. And my inner geek/cosplay junkie gets busy.

f) She's a manip of an existing image. My huge Firefly saga makes a few nods to a fictional comic heroine 'Knife Girl' and the fella who's aching to get inside her denim cutoffs, 'Bad Biker Boy'. [Told ya I was a geek!].

e) Yep, I've done some! At uni, I ran the Vampire LARP for a while, and occasionally took part in the fantasy LARP, though I was less into that than I was into flitting around being an angsty character in goth clothes! Always preferred the politics and character stuff to the sword action. Tabletop suits me because you have a bit of a chance to think. I used to find it difficult being on the spot in LARP, especially if some people thought it was funny to kill PCs!
