Writing: Well that's a pain...

Nano warmup story seems to have developed a perfect explanation of why my main character is such a techy. 

This would involve scrapping and rewriting the character introduction.  Also means some of the character information has to be shifted elsewhere. 

I think I'm going to have to be more decisive when it comes to Nano.

But that's the way stories work sometimes. They tell you what's going on with them, not the other way around. When that happens, run with it and be glad because you've got something viable. :)

On the other hand, you might not wanna take writing advice from someone who's been awake for 28 hours. But I don't get much saner even when I've slept, really.

I know but I had a lovely opening scene which involved my protagonist being yanked out of bed and held upsidedown by an overly complex teasmaid.
