luckykaaSo, I hoped to do 10000 words this weekend and got ahead but managed a lousy 5000 or so so I'm still a day and a bit behind schedule. (Edit: - Google forced me to split it into 2 parts so part 1 is now here and part 2 is now here)
Would help if I'd had a bit more sleep. Unfortunately I seem to keep having fun. Really need to stop doing that.
But it was fun. Ate sushi at Moshi-moshi then went for drinks. It was very tasty though. Really need to find an excuse to go there again. I would suggest my 32¼th birthday but I'm really busy that week. Got back home kinda late.

penguin_worship 's character bossed my character around a lot and stuff happened, and it was lots of fun, then when to the bearcat house to drink lots. Somehow I managed to avoid any need to drink at all, which was nice and meant I could get home. Fun weekend. Met a lot of people I know from larpage.
And today I tried writing lots more. And not quite failling but not writing nearly as much as I hoped.
Once again I feel an urge for more LARP. I want to do an Evening of Science and Mystery at some point if they run another game, but that's up towards Birmingham and the journey is hard to justify for a one evening event. If other people are interested in heading up with me though it would be worth it.

Date: 2008-11-28 12:07 pm (UTC)Venue: We just need a vaguely victorian-looking building. We can ask around, and find something in Sussex easy enough. I have a few ideas.. If the weather is good, that opens our options massively.
Promotion: Via the Darklight website, via rule 7, via Maelfroth - we can get some stuff out there. the first game would be relatively small anyhow.
Crew: I think we can cook up crew from the people we all know. Crew is a function of the plot, and if we start with something more like a one-night free-form, it means less crew, to start with, at least.
I think we should meet nand discuss this. We can do it. We can ask the "Evening..." crew if they mind us tweaking theit rules set, or we could go about writing our own! Lets do it. Dom.flannelcat (at) gmail (dot) com is best email for me. We can get a googledoc up and running for it and have a workable system by Spring?
