I totally just begged off sick even though I have a meeting today. But honestly I don't want to make it worse and be totally laid up over Christmas.

Random stuff?

Sounds a bit like my flat in the UK - full of building site equipment and random items of technology, some of which would not look out of place in a Doctor Who episode.

Then there's an essential Christmas decoration that will go in the lounge, a length of clear plastic tubing with flashing lights that looks like something from Buck Rogers!

I'm trying to think of other random things around here... oh I know... just down the road someone's put Christmas lights on a tree in their front garden and given the shape of the tree in question, it now looks a bit dodgy!!

I hope that's random enough! :)

Dad is Decking the Halls with Boughs of Holly & mum is doing foodsy stuffs. All very traditional Christmas fun! :D
