There was I, about to sort out going to see Watchmen, and it turns out it's not on In Brighton.

Well, that's kinda sucky.

On the subject of sucky, does Dollhouse get any better in episode 3?  Hijinks and Penny Arcade both seem to say "no".  Right now I'm only watching out of Whedon loyalty.  I'm not even sure it makes sense as a reason.

Here's where I see a problem; Joss writes really good witty dialogue, and comes up with fun adventure type stories.  Dollhouse is full of serious characters without much of a sense of humour.  Joss really isn't using his talents.

Eliza Dushku says episode 6 is fantastic, so uhm... yeah...  I think by that time, only the fanboys will be watching.

Hmmm - You appear to be right - But I just spoke to Cineworld on the phone and he says it should be on at Cineworld at the Marina but they don't update their times or take bookings till Tuesday. He thinks it will be on at pretty much all their cinemas .. But it does seem odd the odeon isn't showing it there either...

*ETA* Just phoned Odeon - they said exactly the same, some cinemas don't take advance bookings untill the tuesday at 2pm - She also thinks it will be on at the Odeon in Brighton.

So basically check the cinemas at some point tomorrow afternoon - Its supposed to be on pretty much everywhere .. God knows why brighton doesnt take advance bookings before the Tuesday ...

Cool! Thanks for that.

Would really rather not go to the Cineworld. It's a bit old and worn out, and most of my friends don't drive or live near the right bus route so not easy to get to (Odeon's right in the City Centre).

I'm engaged to be married to a fine gentle fellow and you come on here and dare to talk about fiction?.

Aren't you getting a bit ahead of yourself? First you have to abduct him and tie him up.

You have torn my heart asunder to the point where the colour purple is banned from the celebrations, not the film you understand, the actual colour (though the film is banned also). That includes any unmodified carrots.

Incidentally it was the abduction with silk-lined shackles which led to him seeking my hand in the first place.

I just wonder if he's going to do what Aaron Sorkin did with Studio 60 on the Sunset strip.
