Holiday.

Need to work out where to go on holiday this year.  Am tempoted to combine it with a convention.  Either Worldcon or one of the big US cons (Dragoncon or SDComic con).  Possibly finnCon.  Who else wants to come?

Eurovision.

Not sure what I plan to do for this.  I can either host, go to someone else's party of go to the Duke Of York..  Thoughts?

LARP.

Serenity LARP is happening on 12-14th June.  Will have to actually play.  First I need to check I'm not busy that weekend.  Then I need a concept for a crew.  Then I need crew.  Join up now!  See the 'verse!

Puppetland.

Still determined to run a game of this.  [livejournal.com profile] omylouse  and [livejournal.com profile] lemming_man  seem keen and have character ideas.  Anyone else from the HONHOI or possibly even ex-HoG direction?

Watchmen

Anyone want to come and see this on Sunday?

Eurovision at either yours or HonHoi would be good!
FinnCon you say? Sounds decidedly Finnish...

I've been thinking about going off to DragonCon this year so count me in.

Eurovision party last year was fun, so I agree with either your place or HonHoi.

Puppetland, I've heard bits and pieces of this, what exactly is it as I might be interested.

I'm interested in seeing it but not with the train fare being what it is.

Puppetland is a role playing game. Actually there are no dice so it works more of a collaborative story.

Players play puppets (there are 4 types). Everything you say is what your character says. Games last exactly 60 minutes.

If you, me, lemmy and omylouse can get be in the same place at the same time I'd like to run a game.

I've sent you a DM in Twitter as LJ was playing up for me earlier, seems to be okay now though. I'd like to go to a pub for Eurovision, might be nice to see others' reactions to it and the atmosphere would deffo be a laugh, especially in Brighton, I bet there are some brill Eurovisuon antics what with all the colourful people plus my beer won't run out ;)

The Duke of York Cinema apparently shows it, and also has a licenced bar.

I'm looking at my options.

Cinema sounds a bit restrictive, might be worth doing a bit of research. I know there are places that show it along with a party, if anyone else is interested that is, I'll see what I can find...
