I've been a bit behind.  Taken me ages to get round to it.  So it was cool.  Loved the bit with the Auton wheelie bin.

Wait! Wrong Easter.

Okay - it was fun.  Kinda cliched.  We have the lady thief out for adventure, dropping in from the sky to steal an object located directly under a skylight, with security from people who have never ever seen a heist movie (or Indiana Jones for the matter).  Honestly, it would have made more sense for the thief to walk in before the security guys show up and wander out with the bowl.  We have the woman with mysterious abilities to see the future but used to no dcent effect.

Why do you need a shovel and a hammer for stealing something from a museum?

The number 200 bus is not an ideal escape route.  It seems to be a staggering conincidence that someone so useful happened to catch that particular bus.

Slight plothole issues associated with the Doctor being in contact with Unit.  "Hi.  This is the doctor.  Can you send through an armoured personel carrier please.  We'll bring it right back.  Riiight, thanks".

Why does the female lead always have to turn into Russel T Davies A giggling fangirl at the end?

Was the comment about always missing Easter a self-referential comment about how the new series tends to start around the holiday but not always on it?

Hadn't thought of that, could be!

I also wondered about the shovel. What, she dug her way into the museum? *eyeroll*

She was hot, though. *g* Michelle Ryan looks much better with black hair.

When my housemates were having a very silly conversation yesterday, one of the random points it went off into was - er - going on a date with a dustbin (it was a very silly conversaton indeed!) and all I could think about was *ahem* an Auton wheelie bin! It took me a little time to recover from a fit of the giggles... :)

It was the fabled bag of McGuffin which contains only things revelant to the plot. She did seem to have completely failed to work things beyond getting the artifact, such as not pausing to stop and take off your mask inside the museum with it's doubtless CCTV cameras and then an actual escape route.

Also the flying london bus was cool, hardly a practical escape. It's not like that's a easy thing to miss by eyes or radar.

Would the APC work okay with all the sand? 'Cause our stuff tends to work well in Northern European theatres but not so great in the deserts.

Did you notice the Auton Wheelie bin outside my place?
